The first step to achieving this is to have the details of the entity in place. If you are doing business for a name, company or NGO, it will be good to have the status report document from CAC handy.

- Select to TIN application for non-individuals
- Click on the organisation from the first column.
- If you are applying it for a Business Name, select Business Name and not sole proprietor from the category.
- If you are applying to a company, select a.
- Input the RC, BN or IT Number depending on the entity you want to register (leave no space, eg BN6727351)
- Move to the entity name, and the portal will automatically bring out the name of the entity you are trying to register for TIN.
- Proceed to the next page and fill in the essential information such as phone number, email address, business category, city and house no. Ensure all details are correct.
- In the case of multiple parties, use the details of the real owner of the business.
- Once you have completed every detail, ignore those without a red asterisk * and submit.t
- Wait for like one minute, and the portal will issue you a request ID. Copy this ID and keep it somewhere safe. If the request ID gets missing, you are on your o o!!

- Input your date of birth, first name and last name and search
- Fill other information required and submit.
